Where is a good place to find a Canon digital SLR for under $700?

   Here’s a good camera that’s just barely under budget.
   Canon Rebel XTi with a lens for $675. It’s what many schools use and recommend.

   I see it’s out of stock at B&H, but you should be able to find this locally (or on-line) from Best Buys, Circuit City, and so on.

   If your budget is carved in stone, consider the slightly older, slightly cheaper Rebel XT, which is still available in some places.

   Check gogle and type in "professional camera’s" and it should pop up some good ones!

   you could always check on ebay or amazon for a used one. if it’s just for school, it doesn’t need to be brand new as long as it’s still functional. some of the older models have gone down to like $400, and they’re not that old.

   let me know how it turns out… i’ve been looking for one just to mess around with, and i’m really not interested in spending tons of money. good luck!

   Both the Canon Rebel XT and XTi with kit lens are under $700. You can find them at Best Buy, amazon.com, bhphotovideo.com, and adorama.com.
